Malcolm is a highly experienced former senior officer of the London Fire Brigade and a skilled consultant with a rich background in fire engineering, building control, and safety management. Known for his strategic insight and ability to navigate complex safety challenges, he has also excelled as a magistrate, elected councillor, author, and business owner. Malcolm’s commitment to excellence and ethical leadership has been vital in shaping TEFSRM’s reputation for innovative solutions and industry-leading standards.

Bernie is an accomplished former Fire and Rescue Service Principal Officer and an experienced and versatile consultant with a proven history of crafting effective strategies across public, private, and non-profit sectors. Steven Cunningham is a highly skilled fire stopping specialist with over 48 years of experience, founding and leading Thameside Fire Stopping Ltd. He has spearheaded critical passive fire protection projects across the UK, Europe, Middle East, and Australia, including high-risk sites like offshore platforms and government buildings. With a five-year apprenticeship in Thermal Insulation Craft Practice and advanced certifications, he ensures top safety and manufacturer standards in areas like fire damper inspections, intumescent coatings, and gas venting systems.

A Certified Fire Door Inspector under the FDIS, Paul now runs London Fire Door Consultants, providing inspection, consultancy, and training to architects, contractors, and project managers.
