Career Opportunities

Join Risk and Safety Plus (RS+) to help organisations work safely. We deliver practical health and safety consulting and training across the UK.

We’re a hands-on team that turns standards into simple actions. Our work supports compliance and day-to-day safety for clients in many sectors.

Pathways

         Associate Positions

Associates operate under a contract for services, sometimes referred to as limb (b) workers. In this role, you will:

  • Deliver bespoke fire safety and risk management assessments for clients.

  • Support our divisions with regulatory compliance projects.

  • Develop and implement tailored strategies to address diverse client needs.

  • Provide expert training and guidance to foster proactive safety cultures.

         Internship Programmes

Our internships are voluntary learning placements under an internship agreement. They are unpaid, last up to six months, and include reimbursement of reasonable out-of-pocket expenses. Interns are not classed as workers or employees and are therefore not entitled to the National Minimum Wage.

  • Shadow experienced professionals and learn about the industry.

  • Participate in meaningful projects while developing practical skills.

  • Build a foundation for potential future roles within RS+.

        Peripatetic Employment

Peripatetic workers are employed on a zero-hours contract of employment, sometimes referred to as limb (a) workers. In this flexible role, you will:

  • Be paid hourly, taxed as an employee.

  • Work under the company’s professional indemnity insurance.

  • Gain valuable experience while contributing to our projects.
