Fire Risk Assessment Services

What is an FRA?
A fire risk assessment reviews a building to identify hazards, who’s at risk and practical actions to reduce the likelihood and impact of fire-covering use, escape routes and detection/alarms.
Do I legally need one?
Yes, in the UK it’s legally required for most non-domestic premises and the common parts of multi-residential buildings.
What are the 5 steps of a fire risk assessment?
The fire risk assessment should include the following: identify potential fire hazards; determine who could be harmed; evaluate risks and put proportionate controls in place; record findings and an emergency plan; review and update regularly or after any significant change.
We carry out fire risk assessments to support fire safety compliance. We review your premises, people and any fire protection systems, then issue a prioritised plan for single sites or commercial fire risk assessment programmes. We apply PAS 79-1/79-2 as needed and coordinate third-party PAS 9980 reviews where external walls require it.
(UK-wide coverage)
Key Services Include:
Initial and ongoing risk assessment: Structured inspection, fire risk evaluation and an action plan you can act on.
Action plans for risk reduction: Practical, building-specific actions that remove or reduce risk at source, aligned to recognised PAS 79 principles and day-to-day operations so improvements are realistic to implement.
External wall fire spread assessments: Within the FRA we consider external wall risk factors and where a specialist review is required, we coordinate a third-party PAS 9980 survey/assessment and integrate outcomes into your action plan.
Tailored fire safety solutions: Bespoke recommendations that fit your site, workforce and existing fire protection system/fire prevention system, with clear responsibilities and timescales for contractors and management.
Compliance monitoring: Scheduled reviews and re-inspections to keep pace with operational change and legislation, supporting demonstrable fire safety compliance for insurers and regulators.
